I decided to take my recent drawings etc into the public arena via Threadless, the open design T-Shirt website that allows artists to submit designs for critique and possible manuacturing/prizes. Here are the 3 I have made thus far.
I plan on making some more detailed designs soon, now that I have got the bug to draw again. these were made over a 2 day period and I guess I just wanted something up there to get the ball rolling. You can keep up with my progress by bookmarking this link.
I have decided to create some kid’s illustrations for my son Miles in the view of making a book or some wall prints. Here is the first one I drew - still working on it, but you get the idea.

From the duo’s official website: “Club 8 was formed in 1995 by Karolina Komstedt (from the band Poprace) and Johan Angergård (Acid House Kings, Poprace). They immediately signed with the Spanish label Siesta and released a single called Me too and an album called Nouvelle. Their sound at this point could almost be categorised as anorak pop with influences ranging from Sarah bands, Jim Ruiz, and The Smiths.
In 1998/1999 their 2nd album - The friend I once had - and single - Missing you - were released. Missing you became a club and radio hit in Spain and a college radio fave in North America. The band started playing live, their first gig was in New York at March Records’ 1998 CMJ event. Their sound had developed into a more bossa nova and dance oriented one.”

Mikael Lynen, Simon Corbaux, Tristan Urbin and Rémi Certhoux are four French students (just graduated) sharing the same passion for 3D animation and live action film direction. “Supinfocom was for us one of the best schools where we could convert our passion into a professional career,” says Simon Corbeaux. “Today, the movie is finished and we are looking for jobs in the fields of our interest.
‘Cold Rush’ is a cracked spaghetti western, telling the story of the misadventures of a bounty hunter with his frozen prey. The original intention was to make the story about a bounty hunter lost in Alaska, in an inappropriate environment. “We also exaggerated the unsuitability by overloading him with the frozen corpse,” adds Simon.
The inspiration for this film was initially based on the movies of directors like Sergio Leone, Sergio Corbucci, Charlie Chaplin, Jim Jarmush, the Coen Brothers and many others. The exterior settings were based on photographs of natural landscapes.
