From Estonia to the streets of Marrickville in Sydney, this issue of Cyclic Defrost covers some very diverse sonic ground. Alyssa Critchley takes a look inside the plethora of Sydney’s DIY scenes and in particular the events around Decolonise festival.

Following the devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan earlier this year, Suneel Jethani takes a look at its effect on Home Normal, the label run out of Saitama, Japan and the UK. Our photo feature in the centre of the magazine features the work of Tom Hall, who documented his tour around Australia earlier this year as AXXONN. Donny Benet provides an eclectic and very entertaining take on Cyclic Selects later on in the issue.
