Frigid comes to an end – Saturday June 10

0

Our long running Sydney club night turns TEN on June 10.

And we’ve decided that that makes for as good a time as any to pull the plug.

If you’ve ever enjoyed yourself at Frigid then come down and join us for the celebration and wake.

THE FINAL EVER FRIGID

It is the final ever Frigid. And we’re going out with a huge bang.

We’ve reached ten years and there’s no better time to close down. Why? I hear you cry. Well, if we don’t stop at ten then we’d not feel complete until fifteen and none of us can even imagine another five years of giving up our Sunday nights. Ha!

We’d like to extend an enormous thank you to everyone who has ever played at or attended Frigid. Its been a wild ride and we’ve all had lots of fun, and looking back there’s nothing we would have done differently.

Hopefully our paths will cross again.

You can rest assured that even though Frigid is ending as a weekly night, that the idea behind Frigid will live on.

With the time freed up by Frigid ending you can be confident that new schemes, new plans and new concoctions will be dreamt up and turned into action. We may collaborate with new crews of people, and Cyclic Defrost, our magazine will live on. Heck, you might even find us putting on another Cryogenesis – a ten year reunion one – in 2007. Now that would be something. No promises though.
