A solo show tonight with Luke off working at the SMTPE audio event at Darling Harbour, and me feeling like shit with the flu. So lots of melancholy stuff to open, some old classics from New Order, Yo La Tengo and Beaumont Hannant, and a melodic middle part ending with some glitched out hip hop from South Africa’s African Dope label.

Some of the music in this week’s show is the stuff we’ve recently sent out to subscribers to our Cyclic Defrost Music Club. The Music Club is a subscription CD service where we select, purchase and send to your letterbox, some of the more interesting music from across the world – each fortnight. For more information, check out the site.
