Stacks of new stuff tonight with Seb just back from Sonar in Barcelona with a truckload of new music. We start off with a Japan-only (why I do not know) reissue of a classic Alice Coltrane album followed by Brazillian sensation M.Takara plus some modern classical and IDM/postrock oddiies. We close out the show with some acid bangers, new and old a track from Atom Heart’s spoof acid compilation which ‘recreates’ each year from 88-03 in acid house; Funkstorung’s remaking of some of their old acid recordings for the Bunker label; and the rather excellent compilation of Chicago acid and ‘experimental’ house from Soul Jazz.
