We were deeply saddened to hear about the death of Mika Vainio last night, a hugely influential figure in experimental electronic music as a solo artist, in numerous collaborations, and of course in the pioneering Finish outfit Pan Sonic. He was and will continue to be a big influence on all of us here at Cyclic.
We’re spending the weekend listening to his incredible music and reflecting upon his unique approach to sound. We suggest you do the same.
