While the skies were grey, the music and spirits were anything but in Brisbane for last weekend’s St Jerome’s Laneway Festival. Laneway Fest is one of the better curated festivals of the summer calendar because festive goers are treated to the best in emerging international touring acts combined with interesting local artists. Growing from an intimate Melbourne laneway festival based around St Jeromes bar, The Festival now visits several Australian states and even ventures overseas. It’s been a long time since we went to Laneway, so this year we sent our photographer Andrew Cahill along to capture the action.
