Tardis Cymbals is a taster of void beats / invocation trex the debut album by Cavern of Anti-Matter due for release on the 19th of February on Duophonic records present. It’s the new project of Stereolab mainman Tim Gane, in collaboration with original Stereolab drummer Joe Dilworth and synth wizard Holger Zapf.
The album proper is an epic 72 minute journey featuring guest vocals from Bradford Cox (Deerhunter), Sonic Boom (Spacemen 3), and sound processing from Jan St. Werner (Mouse On Mars). It was preceded by limited edition vinyl releases on Grautag, Deep Distance, Peripheral Conserve and Associated Electronic Recordings.
