It’s with great sadness we learned of the passing of composer and free jazz pioneer Ornette Coleman at the age of 85 this morning. In reflecting on his incredible body of work we couldn’t go past his remarkable collaborative works with Morocco’s Master Musicians of Joujouka from his 1977 album Dancing in Your Head.
