Lady Jaye Breyer P-Orridge 1969-2007, R.I.P.

Lady Jaye Breyer P-Orridge (aka Miss Jackie) of Psychic TV died suddenly on Tuesday 9th Oct 2007 after suffering a heart attack at home in Brooklyn, New York. Her heart condition was previously undiagnosed, but she had been suffering from stomach cancer for a number of years. She collapsed and died in the arms of her ‘other half’ Genesis Breyer P-Orridge.

Lady Jaye can be heard reciting the spooky spoken word piece ‘Mother Jack’ on Psychic TV’s Trip Reset album. She was also involved in PTV3′s latest CD Hell Is Invisible… Heaven Is Her/e, and played in PTV3′s live shows. Lady Jaye and Genesis were in the midst of an ongoing life-art project intended to make them look more alike through matching breast implants, haircuts, and other body modifications. The aim was to merge their identities into a single ‘pandrogynous’ being, named Breyer P-Orridge.

Messages of condolence can be left on PTV3′s MySpace page.
