This limited release (150 copies only) is a collection of recordings made in Newtown, Sydney by this duo between 2003 and 2004. In opens with pips of digital static which give way to some to pure tonal digital mayhem that does not abate for the course of the album. This record is essentially a thin, texturally complex ribbon of high frequency sound. The only relief comes from occasional bursts of soothing static and some electrical crackles that sound for all the world like popping candy on your tongue. Guerra and Earle’s individual contributions are indistinguishable, it easy to imagine both players hunched over their gear completely zoned out, surrendering to the tonal force of the music. Your feelings towards this record with probably be determined by how you feel about harsh digital noise.
