Jan Hájek aka Romjbor Klanglabor (1983) was born in Rumburk, Czech Republic, now lives in Cottbus, Germany. After a long period of experimentation in various local bands in Decin and Prague he started to work with soundtracks of instructional 16mm films from the sixties and seventies. Jan mixes audio excerpts from the films with electric guitar, analog synthesizers and short samples from various old Czech audio cassettes.
