After a decade’s absence spent working in commercial sound design, New York based electronic musician and producer Joseph Fraioli recently returned to his Datach’i alias with his new album ‘System’. Released on Venetian Snares’ Timesig imprint, ‘System’ sees Fraioli crafting beautiful yet often unsettling electronic music recorded exclusively on a Eurorack Modular synth.
While Fraioli’s preceding videos taken from ‘System’ have focused on his impressive modular synth set-up in a performance setting, Daniel Ryan’s video for his new track ‘Final Meta’ sees what could be either a futuristic city or the inside of a home computer going up in flames.
