Sound of Cobra is a Berlin based label focused on psychedelic avant experimental music. Appalled by the current treatment of refugees in Europe, they’ve issued The Promise of Arrival, a compilation to benefit migrants and refugees.

It features tracks from Lawrence English, Rabi Beaini, Andrea Belfi, David Grubbs, Zu, Ania Courtis, Mohammad, 3/4HadBeenEliminated, and Massimo Pupillo.

“The profits of the compilation, which will be sold through Bandcamp, will be entirely donated to a list of organisations which are active helping migrants and refugees, whether that means rescuing them from a catastrophic journey or getting them set up in their country of arrival and helping them start a new life. The promise of arrival dies way too often on the shores of selfishness. This collection of music offers a helping hand.”

Organisation that they will contribute to are INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE OF THE RED CROSS, MIGRANT OFFSHORE AID STATION, REFUGEE COUNCIL, ASYLUM SEEKER RESOURCE CENTRE, and CITY OF SANCTUARY
