Listen to the hypnotic motorik electro darkness of ‘Stung’ by the mysterious Tackle

The latest release on the always interesting Berlin based Australian label, Another Dark Age, a label who have released Cured Pink, Vincent Over The Sink, Matthew P Hopkins, and LST is the mysterious Tackle. If truth be told we don’t know anything about him/ her, other than this new three-track 12″ Benzedrine is a cracker. The label suggests that it ‘delivers equal parts dread and mirth to the dance floor.’

Here’s what they have to say:

“Having begun work on Benzedrine during a sub-zero Berlin winter and finishing it in the remoteness of his hometown of Seymour, Victoria, Tackle spits out a 12” that bastardises all the hemispheres. He grasps the quality of the early Diagonal catalogue, the in-vogue drum ‘n’ bass revival and those shit-fi noise rhythms of mid-west American boredom.”

You can’t argue with ‘shit-fi noise rhythms of mid-west American boredom.’ You can find more information here.
