Very sad to hear about the passing of the legendary Japanese composer and musician Isao Tomita. He released more than a dozen studio albums in his lifetime, including Snowflakes Are Dancing, Pictures At An Exhibition, Bermuda triangle, Firebird and The Planets, often using electronic instruments to recreate classical works. He will be missed. Enjoy the Harp Being Played By the Ancient People and the Venus and Her Space Children Singing… off our favourite Tomita album Bermuda Triangle. RIP.

“Isao Tomita, composer and synthesizer artist, died May 5, 2016 of chronic cardiac failure at 2:51 p.m. at Tokyo Metropolitan Hiroo Hospital. He collapsed around noon in his home and was taken to the hospital, where he passed away with family at his bedside. Private funeral ceremonies attended only by family took place on May 7th and 8th.
