Enjoy the tease, it’s “Konono meets Batida”, the legendary Congolese band’s new album, which was recorded in Lisbon in collaboration with acclaimed Angolan/Portuguese artist Batida and jointly produced with Vincent Kenis (the producer of all the band’s albums). It’s safe to say that at Cyclic we’re pretty excited that one of Portugal’s most restless and progressive producers has teamed with the most bizarre, mind blowing and iconic band in the Congo.
